Better pre-amps, A/D and D/A, more in/outs will all cost more. Ask for advice based on what you need but $100 is probably a minimum budget. Melodyne optionally installs a 30-day trial, and used to revert to a stripped-down version after those 30 days, but even that doesn't work for me any longer.įor pro-quality analog input or monitor output, and to connect real-world MIDI keyboards and the like, you'll need an audio interface. There are a few plugins that apparently used to come with Sonar that don't any longer but there are a ton of free and useful instruments and F/X available on the interwebs. Some plugins sell subscriptions these days, so what CW is asking is very minimal. Just use the email you use professionally or get a gmail address and use it for only CW.
